CheerABILITIES Teams Will Compete for Official Worlds Titles Starting in 2027: USASF Announcement Video
On October 14, 2026, the USASF announced that Exceptional Athletes on U.S. CheerABILITIES and DanceABILITIES teams will compete for official Worlds titles beginning at The Cheerleading Worlds 2027 (April 23-26). Until now these teams competed at the Exceptional Athlete International Championship (EAIC), held alongside Worlds but as a separate event. USASF Exceptional Athlete Committee chair Vanessa Vail said Exceptional Athletes "will have the same Worlds experience as other All Star athletes." The video shows the CheerAbilities division at Worlds 2021 (FloCheer footage).
